Platform · AI salary negotiation

Let the AI negotiate the offer, within your limits.

When you enable it, the Orbis interviewer negotiates compensation at the end of the interview against a private ceiling you set. The candidate never sees the cap; you receive the agreed amount, whether agreement was reached, and a summary.

How does AI salary negotiation work?

  1. 1

    You set a private ceiling

Define the maximum you’re willing to pay for the role. It’s never shown to the candidate.

  2. 2

The AI opens at the midpoint

Negotiation anchors at the midpoint of your public range and works from there.

  3. 3

    It never crosses your cap

The AI negotiates within bounds and will not exceed the private ceiling you set.

  4. 4

    You get the outcome

After the call, you see the agreed amount, whether an agreement was reached, whether the ceiling was hit, and a short summary.

“The fastest part of hiring shouldn’t be the part you dread. Orbis closes the gap on compensation while you stay in control of the number.”

FAQ

AI salary negotiation, answered

Is salary negotiation always on?

No. It’s an optional feature you enable per role. When it’s off, the interview simply ends after the questions.

Does the candidate know there’s a cap?

No. The private ceiling you set is never exposed to the candidate. They experience a normal negotiation; you keep full control of the limit.

What do I receive afterward?

A recruiter-only record on the candidate: the agreed amount, whether agreement was reached, whether the ceiling was reached, and a summary of the negotiation, reconstructed from the interview.
